The CSC facility is a 13,000 square foot all-turf practice facility that is centrally located in the Hampton Roads area. We focus on providing sports instruction for baseball, softball, soccer, field hockey, and football players!
Includes:
- Turf Infield (70’ x 80’)
- 6 Batting Cages (12’ x 55’)

OUR STORY
Co-Owners, Topher Ellis and Jon Spears are no strangers to the sports community in Hampton Roads. Both Ellis and Spears grew up playing ball against each other from travel ball into high school, then college, and even as college coaches leading teams against each other. They always had that competitive rivalry that forged a relationship over the years, and eventually to create what Coastal is today. In July of 2016, Coach Ellis left his coaching job at the University of Mary Washington and began planning a business around the idea that there would be value in providing instruction to youth athletes. It didn't take long for Ellis and Spears to reconnect on a ball field, and in the fall of 2017, they began their search for a prime location to put their plan into action. With the help of a group of investors, Ellis and Spears opened the Coastal Sports Center facility in January of 2018.
